A dip for Water

[Taurus]

Fast asleep outside the walls of the den Taurus laid fast asleep beside a boulder. The sun rays had kissed her skin as her tongue laid outside of her mouth and drool gathered at the opening. Small pool of saliva gathered as her nose wrinkled slightly. Stretched along the boulder with her large height which still rivaled her brother's height slightly as her claws pressed against the boulder with a small scrape. Ears flicked at the noise as a small cough suddenly woke her up. A red and grey eye opened at once as she blinked rapidly trying to remember where she was. 

Parched mouth she had decided to go for a dip in the water. Knowing her father would like to know her whereabouts she sent him a quick message through their link. "Father, I'm going for a drink of water." she told him. She did not ask, she straight out told her father where she was going. The trust between her siblings and father had grown in a short amount. It felt right. A brief second later she heard a sigh as something sarcastic came back. She snickered before sending out a link between Hyperion and Scorpius about her whereabouts as well.

For six months both Hyperion and Taurus looked unusual. While their sizes were larger than the average six month pup they'd grown up a lot. Taurus no longer held any of her pure white fur. It had started to change into a silvery gray and small patches of her fur seemed to differ with shades of the grey. Her red and grey eye stayed the same. And now the female was capable of hunting small prey when her father had time to take them. Meanwhile Scorpius was below the average height of the six month mark, but he was smart and also able to catch the smaller prey. He was actually the first one out of the three to catch his first prey. Surprising result for the weakest and runt of the litter, but it was true.

Wobbling onto her legs she let out a small exhalation of frustration as she managed to weave through the Abatara Jungle. It was nice and claimed by the Sacrum Imperium pack which made her feel safe. It was her father and uncle's pack which made her learn to trust the members. As she weaved through the tree's her strong scent of burnt pine and a sweet icy smell was left in her wake as she headed towards the river. 

Step. Step. Pant. Pant.

Finally the she-devil reached her final destination. The stream that seemed to be calm today, but knew that currents liked to happen. She remembered once taking a small walk with Zenyr and how she had almost fallen into the stream before he grabbed her scruff. Pushing past the leaves in her way she skirted down to the water with a bounce in her step. Not one fond of icy temperatures on her pads she tested the water to see how cold it would be. Letting out a strangled yelp she looked around to make sure no one heard her as she pulled her paw out of the water and shook it. Leaning over she decided she would fill her parched mouth like this.

Opening her mouth widely she tucked it into the water as she lapped up the cool liquid that would quench her thirst. The cool liquid seemed to stream down her face and as soon as she lapped up all she could she removed her mouth from the water. As her tongue went back and forth few of the water droplets flew up and onto her face. It touched the underlying skin which caused her to shiver for a brief second. Few droplets kept coming and she swiped her tongue greedily around the falling water droplets. It was cool and refreshing. Something much needed after that long nap and basking in the sun rays.

Unexpected fatigue and tiredness overcame the male as he moved through the day time; his eyes narrowed and brows furrowed in an attempt to block out light from entering his eyes. The dark navy hued wolf generally prefers the darkness and light of the moon than that of the day time as the types of light were very different from each other. A gentle sigh escaped the striped male as he strode along into lands unknown.

Verskei was part of a large family unit, made up of over 40 wolves spanning over many generations and that's only the family members they know of. The family is likely to be far, far larger to relate to those who have left and started their own families elsewhere. Although he is part of a large family unit, Verskei's task was the same for all males who were coming of age; set out alone, find a mate and either start a pack of your own or join one. Easy, right?

Taking a route that leads him into occupied lands, the dark-hued wolf hoped he wouldn't be attacked but should anyone come across him he would be ready.

The lands in which he entered were lush and green, vibrant in colours and the sounds, oh they were delightful; all coupled to sooth the male into a calm sense and take the edge off a bit. His pace slowed to a leisurely trot, but he always remained alert to new sounds and scents, although he looked calm enough -a trait he learned off his parents. He was potentially destined for leadership. However, right now, that wasn't on his mind. As he continued through the deepening jungle he could hear the distant falling of water, another soothing sound. Sitting by waterfalls watching the moon is one of his favourite things.

The moon, his beloved moon. 'Hmm...' he murred gently before his reverie was shattered by a cry, something that tightened his spine. It sounded like it came from a young creature, and instincts took over; if this animal was hurt, Verskei would do his best to help them, on stranger lands or not. Bolting through the trees, his nose dipped, the navy wolf's tail trailed behind him as he caught the animal's scent and closed in.

He slowed and crouched behind some foliage, panting, waiting to see what would happen. But nothing. There was just a young wolf drinking water, no distress. 'Odd.' he thought to himself as his bioluminescent heterochromatic eyes scanned the area for any further signs of other wolves or felines.

Settling along the banks of the creek, Taurus watched in amazement. Heterochromia eyes glanced over the nook and cranny of the area as she memorized it. Putting it into a small file cabinet she noted the scenery. The greenery of shrubs and bushes that were able to keep her from the open, a small creek or river she couldn't tell the difference between the two, and lots of trees and open space.

Small droplets fell from the six month pup's face. Not bothered by the dripping she stuck out a paw into the water. Grunting by the cold water that seemed to seep into her skin she gritted her teeth together before sticking her other front paw into the water. Scrunching her nose in distaste she waited a few more minutes before placing her hind paws into the cold water.

Submerging her rather large body one with the water she shuddered. The coldness had seemed to bite at her as her fur stuck together in clumps. It made her look more odd than she was really was. The small tints of white left were nowhere to be seen as her grey seemed to multiply. She figured by the age of two she'd be a darker shade of grey.

A small shaking could be seen if you were close enough otherwise the pup waded in the water as she gave herself a cleanse. Feeling the rocks under her rough pads she pulled backwards with her front paws as her claws unsheathed. What would've been dull claws were sharp as they clashed with the rock but held her balance.

Knowing Taurus couldn't stand the water for much longer she finished her business rather quickly before swimming to the other side of the bank. Pulling herself out of the water she shook herself off as water droplets sprayed in every direction. Tongue snaking out to rasp her nose she snorted before scanning the area. Although these lands were owned by her father and uncle didn't mean that roaming felines weren't out and about. 

Inhaling a deep breath a scent filtered through her nose. It was peculiar to her. Something she didn't recognize, but her task at hand was to find it. Narrowing her eyes and voiding her face of any emotion she flared her nostrils as she tracked the scent. The scent brought her to one of the foliage where one could hide. 

Lowering her head she gave a big whiff. The scent was indeed more stronger here. While Taurus didn't notice him at first she now wondered who this was. As she leaned down she could see the outline of a darker sized wolf and looked potentially bigger. One thing about her was that she was larger than her age and generally mistaken for how old she was.

Peering down at the wolf she watched. Her tail flicked behind her. She said nothing, but watched. She wasn't quite sure how to start this conversation. So she blurted out her first thought. "Who are you?" She asked curious of his response.

His body remained stock still, only his eyes, ears, nose and the occasional twitch of his tail served for movements. Either the pup was an aquaphobic or that water really was chilly; Verskei's brow quirked as he thought through the options watching her. It was the latter. She eventually submerged her body into the water and bathed and swam for a brief moment clearly eager to escape the clutches of the water, something that made the male smirk.

Clearly, she was not in distress, being attacked or brutally murdered, so the male didn't need to be there, but now he couldn't move for risk of being discovered. Sighing and shaking his head the bi-coloured-eyed thought of his idiocity and how he now was a sitting duck waiting to be found. Parting his muzzle, the male's tongue darted out and trailed along his lips and over his nose moistening them as a shudder rippled the male's body dispersing some of his tensions.

When Verskei focused on the pup again she was gone. His ears pricked up and eyes widened while his brow furrowed as he thought about how she sipped away so easily, she was sopping wet after all. He grunted lightly and inhaled deeply before the damn scent of fur drew his attention to his left, to which he turned around to see the pale coloured female staring at him before she blurted out a rather simple question. Once again the navy male was amused and he sat upright on his haunches looking down at the young female with a smile on his face. How she brought a smile to the male's lips, he didn't know, there was something about her that he liked; the tail clearly gave away signs by staying gently behind him.

It took the striped male a couple of seconds to correct himself before he responded to the pup. "Well, I am someone who was concerned about the welfare of some after hearing a wailing cry earlier, but I would assume that wasn't you?" a hint of sarcasm dripped from the brute's question, coupled with the quirked brow and smirk. There really was something about her. He should have been leaving, knowing that her parents and other pack members could soon be on their way, yet here he remained.

Taurus blanched openly at the navy male's response to her question. It wasn't the response which she was looking for either which caused her impatience to soar. Getting under her skin wouldn't be pretty and usually it didn't happen a lot. Only one wolf got under her skin and made her blind with rage and frustration. A simple answer would have sufficed for the young female but no he had to answer her with his own statement followed by a question directed at her. That bothered her but she couldn't figure out the reason.

She could hear the clear sarcasm dripping in his tone as her ears flickered registering the tone of the male causing her to let out a low growl rolling her heterochromia eyes at the male. Bothered by not getting the response she wanted she debated on whether to get up to mischief. Clearly younger than this male she would have to make sure she didn't step on his toes the wrong way without a plan in place, but where was the fun in that. She had a reckless streak at times and eventually it would bite her in the ass.

So Taurus decided to be bold and play with the male.
No one else was here to see her and her wicked ways. Not her brothers nor her family. She felt the urge to lick her lips but resisted as thoughts rolled into her head.
There was endless possibilities. 

"Cute," she stated with a small snort. Taurus really was a mixture of her uncle Cozen and father Zenyr. The resemblance between her and Cozen were quite clear in attitude and personality, but her traits seemed to come from her father. "But that wasn't my question, my question was 'Who are you?'" She restated with her eyes watching his movement closely. She had a few tricks, but didn't want to play dirty yet. 

After all Taurus only came for a dip of water. If she stayed out too late she feared her father would send out a search party for her. Not something she wished to see or hear about. Her brothers would probably tease her for days too. Yet sometimes a bit of mischief was what made the little she-devil relish in what she did.

She was known as the stronger sibling who out ranked both of her siblings. She was the eldest, tallest, and one of the smartest. All the children were, but Scorpius seemed to rival her in smarts. Hyperion actually was rivaling her in height. But neither ranked her in being the eldest. Her brothers were her first priority and she made that blunt. Nobody messed with her siblings unless they wanted an ass whoop. Taurus was fiercely protective of her siblings. Each of them had their own quirks, likes and dislikes, and personalities. They all worked together.

Verskei continued to asses the child, his brow quirked at her response, clearly, she expected some semblance of a decent reply, one which the male was not going to give her straight away. His OCD served its purpose in not allowing himself to be introduced first, something that had always happened throughout his whole 2.5 years of life. "Never give your name first, you never know who you are dealing with and what they can use against you." were words of his father, droned into him as a pup, and something he continued to this day.

The soft grey wolf tried to force home the question again, coupled with a growl, something that had no effect on the male, aside from pulling another smile from him. "Now dear, I'm not silly enough to give away my identity to potential enemies. Who knows what ears are about and what traps you have to wait for me to spring." he cooed at the she-wolf; ears pulling back momentarily to feign a fissure of fear before he laughed aloud and addressed her. "Now you, who are you? You seem bold, braisen and well enough to handle yourself, as well as clearly uncaring for the wet smell that is seeping into your pelt right now." the navy wolf gestured to her body with his head.

This young female seemed unphased by the stranger, either she was bold or stupid, something he had yet to figure out. "I'm not going to harm you, small one." something he knew would tick her off, as she was already trying to be beyond her years but confronting a stranger alone and not raising the alarm.

Seeming to not get far with the navy striped male she let out a low huff of air followed by a small rumbling sound that resonated inside her chest and throat. A vibration. Tail curling slightly it flicked behind her in an aggressive manner as her grey furs stood on edge. Agitation. That's what she felt. 

Nostrils flaring and her jaw twitching as she withheld her click. Taurus wasn't impressed and it showed. But then the male had the audacity to coo at her and feign fear before laughing in her face. She felt that he was mocking her and she snarled at the male. Moving on autopilot, without her knowledge, she launched forwards and snapped her jaws.

Grabbing a hold of a smaller section of his fur on his shoulder Taurus' eyes held a wicked fiery gaze as if overtaken by her impulse. Once the teeth made contact with his skin her secreting acid mutation kicked in as it began to burn the male's shoulder and cause a small patch of missing fur to happen. Pulling back she huffed at the distaste of fur in her mouth and spat it out.

Looking back at the navy striped male wolf she gasped. "Oops?" She said still surprised by her impulses. Sometimes Taurus was led more by her impulses. Feeling her face heat up she turned her head in a different direction away from the male as she didn't want to see his reaction.

But then once more the male goaded her and called her small one. Claws flexing against the ground they dug into the soil as they turned it over the ground. She counted in her head and ignored his comments. For a brief second she debated on whether telling her father of the rogue in their land, but at the moment it seemed he posed no threat and so she didn't bother. 

She was at a lost. Never before had she encountered something like this.

She worried that because of her impulse she could've caused a bad relationship between the two. Hopefully she didn't but then again the pup still had a lot to learn. She was only six months even if she was rather tall for her age.

The grey female's mood soured quickly and the stripped male should have anticipated an attack, but he didn't expect what happened next. As she lurched towards him, Verskei jolted back in surprise and whined sharply, trying not to pull away. He recognised the sharpness of the female's teeth which just reached his skin, but there was something there that he didn't recognise which frightened him a little.

A warmth, like liquid, but not as thick as blood followed by another ripple of heat and a tingling sensation. His muzzle tensed up, drawing back, two-coloured eyes started to glow as his mood changed and his muscles tensed. She quickly released the male and he glared down at her wide-eyed, huffing at her response. "Oops? Oops?" he grunted before looking at his shoulder to see some fur missing.

Drawing in a breath, he steadied himself, still holding a firm expression on his face, yet not angry, which any other would have been if they had been subject to an assault. However, it was clear that the female hadn't had her fill "Want more?" he hissed softly rising to his full height and looking at her with his shoulders squared, although ignoring the twinge of irritation that came from the site. His tail lashed sharply behind him as he lowered his head to her height to gaze into her heterochromatic eyes.

"Fiesty little firefly, aren't we?" he said, amusement lacing his words once more and alighting his eyes. "Clearly I am somewhere where I am not needed, so I will let you get on your way." he said with a quirk of a brow, yet he made no attempt to move, he wanted to see what she would offer up next; another attack, an apology, an introduction, something he had failed to give her still.

The navy striped male clearly hadn't expected her small outburst of impulse which pleased her for a small split second, but on the other hand made her feel a bit guilty. Taurus had never felt like this, but she did know the emotion. Her father had talked about it with them when they first came.

It wasn't something that she did on purpose.. no it was her impulses which drove her to that action. She'd never bit someone like that before.
Not even her brothers and they wrestled with each other all the time. 

Feeling the glare that was placed at her made Taurus shrink backwards awkwardly. She still didn't face his gaze as worry was an emotion you could easily see on her face. Her tail dropped and trailed underneath her as if hiding. Because she was in the process of drying there was damp fur clunks which made her look weird. 

Hearing the draw of his deep breath Taurus could feel the male moving in the distance, but couldn't see him exactly with her face in another direction. Shifting her eyes in his direction she gulped. She saw him look at his shoulder where a small patch of fur had gone missing. And then he hissed at her before rising to his full height. 'HOLY SHIT' she thought. Was this her death?

The sight of something flickering caused her to look at the tail as he asked her if he wanted more. She kept quiet not sure if it were a rhetoric question or not. His head was level with hers, but his height definitely rivaled hers since he was clearly older. There was that tone again which caused her to scrunch up her nose at his words.

Raising a brow at the next set of words that guilty feeling hit her harder. But the male also hadn't made any move. "Wait!" she called, even though the navy striped male hadn't made his move yet. "Let's start over?" She asked unsure of why she said that. She wanted to apologize to the male since she did kind of give him a loss of fur. That was on her.

This time the male was braced, ready for her to lurch up at him and he would swiftly be able to put her on her back, should she make the move. But she didn't. As she looked up at him, he smirked and cocked his head, his ear flopping slightly at the angle. He was just about to take a step back as she piped up, sounding rather desperate, or panicked, Skei didn't know which.

"Start over?" he questioned, pulling himself back into a sitting position once more, his body brushing against the foliage that still held him from the view of the water, which would make them, now matted female, look like she was talking to flowers. He snorted gently at the thought before smirking at the female. "How do you suggest, Firefly?" a name he had now chosen to doubt he youth. She was clearly one of a feisty and potential leadership of lineage, which bodes the question once more of 'Where were her relatives?'

The long tail of the male pooled around him as he sat upright and gazed at the somewhat dried female. He knew she would press once more regarding his name, but now he knew it would be a game for him to keep it from her, and for her to try and find it. Verskei found it odd that he was so comfortable in a stranger guild's lands and interacting with one of their members, with little resistance. Could this lead to be something, or was this a fleeting pass?

Clearly the male watched her movements with a sharp eye to see if she would lurch forward again. Then again the first time she had launched and basically killed a patch of his fur. He had every right to be on edge, but Taurus was pretty harmless. Not the result she was expecting and would probably have to discuss with her father that she had found a new mutation she hadn't noticed before. That would be a long talk which she knew she shouldn't with hold such information from her father.

Watching his dark navy ears flop at an angle upon his cranium made her chuckle deeply at how it fell. Could ears actually do that? She couldn't ever say that she saw that before but she found it cute. Even though it was her suggestion to try to start over she hadn't really thought about it. How did they start over? Although they didn't know each other's names he called her 'Firefly'. 

"Like this," she stated as she dipped her head in an apologetic stance. Heterochromic eyes looking down at the ground. "I'm sorry for recent actions earlier and burning a small patch of her fur off." She chuckled nervously as her claws flexed on the ground. She really hadn't meant to do that, but she did.

Deciding she wouldn't press for his name at the moment she also decided she wouldn't reveal hers. He never asked her so she didn't seem eager to reveal hers either. She could tell he was the type that never gave out his name freely without gaining back information. In a way he reminded her of her father.

Zenyr had told the pups the story of how a strange wolf tried to take over their pack by claiming that he was his mother's mate and how Cozen reacted. Cozen had given up information quickly and impulsively which is how she somewhat knew she was like her uncle. Something she would have to work on.

As he hid within the foliage that covered him and made her look weird. She didn't mind because she knew her brothers were probably together. Her father was attending to his alpha duties. So no one would look for her. She pulled backwards and reclined onto her haunches relaxed even in the presence of the stranger. Wet parts of her fur molded together as some dried parts were fluffier. Her darkening grey tone was unique.

Settled and calm, Verskei didn't get the impression that this wolf's family were likely to attack him and run him out of town should they come across him. He may get an earful and a few stances, but he felt he would be unlikely to be set upon by them, which was reassuring, It gave him hope that he could, if possible, look at potentially trying to get in with this family. But, that meant a matter of 'adult' business, and as the only female he had come across was about a year younger than he, it wouldn't be suitable. But Verskei was not there for those matters, he wanted to forge a friendship and set down roots in case he needed a fallback.

The apology from the grey female was welcomed, although the brute didn't expect it, so it was nice and he chuckled lightly and allowed her to continue; she seemed sincere about it, and somewhat ashamed. The male's blue and purple eyes glinted with the increasing fondness he felt towards his new 'friend', Firefly. "Don't worry about it, I've had worse." that was not entirely true, as he had never been attacked with acid before, but he had enough scraps with his siblings. "Won't your family be wondering where you are?" he asked, making small talk. somewhat hoping to meet them.

His right ear flicked idly to some buzzing insects -considering they were sitting in bushes, there was a chance they were seated on some poor critter's home. Verskei rose to his paws and gently stepped around the female to move into the open before shaking out his coat and the debris that gathered in it, a matter that irritated him slightly. The water was beckoning, clear, calm, tranquil, it called to him. "I'm going for a dip." he smirked before heading over to the water's edge and looking in; it was serene. He paused, waiting to hear if she would follow, before dipping a paw into the water to test its frigidity.

Taurus blinked at his memorizing eyes. Both mirrored her own like with the heterochromia although the colour was quite different from hers. Besides his were a beautiful color that glowed a blue and purple unlike her dull grey and red. Even though he tried to reassure the lass it only worked a small bit. "Really?" She asked quirking a brow as she looked at the damage she caused to his shoulder.

At the mention of her family she looked back to the male's eyes as she tried to get a reading on his intentions about asking of her family. At first she didn't know how to address that, but she went with the flow. Taurus never straight out lied, but she did work words to her advantage if needed. "No, not until later. I've told them I went for a dip of water. Father didn't deny." She shrugged as she watched him come out from the bushes where he seemed to be hiding for that whole while.

"Why? Can I not come out here alone?" She asked the navy striped male as her ear flickered. The small sound of bugs crawling in the foliage wasn't something she was very fond of or the bugs. But for now she would deal with it. Sooner or later though, rather sooner she'd like to get away from the buzzing sounds.

Intrigued by the males next actions she followed behind but at a small distance. He had said he was going for a dip in the water. It seemed that the water called out to him and he answered their beckoning call. His paw dipped into the water as he tested it out. She didn't feel the need to get wet again so she watched from afar. "So.. how is it?" She teased. "Is it cold? Warm? To your liking?" She asked wondering how he felt the water was.

Mostly dried now she gave a light shake as she fluffed herself out. Red eye that showed more emotion than her grey eye watched as she felt her mischief behavior begin to creep up on her. She was bored now and needed some entertainment. Without her siblings here to pester she didn't know what to do, but this male could be included. Lost in her thoughts she wasn't aware of her surroundings. She was overtaken by her thoughts as she wondered what to do next. 

She knew she would have to find him a nickname as she couldn't keep calling the male "male" or "navy striped" in her head. No, she would find a nickname that suited him. She hummed lowly as her tail flicked behind her. Still it was like Taurus was in a trance.

As his paw entered the liquid Verskei felt the cool fluid against his pads and he agreed that ti was a bit chilly, but not to the extent to make one yelp out in shock. He stepped into the water feeling it penetrating through his layers of fur, but not enough to make contact with his skin, but he still felt enough of its temperature through the thinner layers of fur on his limbs. Swinging his head back around to look at the female, he knitted his brows with a smug expression on his face before answering her "It's okay, not cold, but cool. Enough to wake one up and shock their system to alertness." Verskei enjoyed a cool bathe to revitalise his senses, as well as the main reason to clean his coat and tail, something he prided himself on.

The two of them fell silent as the female settled herself on the land, clearly unwilling to take another dip, but Verskei knew of a way to change that. Weighing up the options in his head, he knew that it could end up being a mistake, but it also could add to their connection. -'Maybe later.'

Forcing himself down into the water, the navy male completely submerged himself; closing his nostrils to avoid inhaling water; he used his large paws to kick through the water in elegant long strides; his toes splaying to allow the webbing between them to act as defacto fins. His blue and purple eyes remained open as he swam underwater, taking in the sights of the small fish; rocks and plant life. He maintained a lungful of air for a couple of minutes, slowing his breathing and heart rate to maximise the amount of oxygen his body circulated before he was forced to surface for another breath.

As he did breach the surface, Verskei took a brief look around and found he wasn't in the same area as when he went under, yet he wasn't concerned. He took another deep breath and dove back into the depths of the water, seeing the ground fall away from him as the water got deeper. Even underwater he could he the muted sound of falling water and chose to follow it.

Taurus watched the male wade in the water. He seemed unaffected by the water but she made no reaction besides a small nod. It was like the two were playing a game of cat and mouse. She could both see and hear the smugness in his reply, but made no attempt to go further.

The male who she had decided to call in her head Lunar Thief because he looked like a thief of the night with these bright eyes that were illuminated plunged himself into the water and waded down leaving her behind. Following the male from the bank she debated jumping on him just for fun, but quickly decided she wouldn't seeing as she wanted to stay dry.

Following along the edge she could see the male seemed to be having fun and then he finally resurfaced to get some air.  It wasn't long before he submerged himself and the waters got deeper. Not knowing if she should follow him or head back she followed a little bit more. She was curious of where he'd go. 

But Taurus knew that she would have a search party sent after her if she didn't return home soon. As the male seemed to go farther out she finally stopped and watched him from the banks. Turning on her heels the female sent one last look over her shoulder before she trudged her way back following the bank line. 

Fish and other creatures swam or slithered. Her stomach rumbled as her mouth parted. Saliva began to fall from the six month mouth as she debated on fishing. Knowing her fishing skills would lead to another wet adventure she frowned.

Her stomach growled again and she looked down at it before talking to her stomach. "Okay, okay I'll feed you." She whined to her stomach since she left the wolf in the water. Who knew what the male would do after that, but for now she decided to go fishing.

Bouncing to the bank she saw a fish wiggling. Grinning her lips quirked up and pulled as she placed her paws into the water quietly. Leaning she leaped forward with extended claws as she hooked onto the fish. At the last second it noticed her presence but was too slow to move hence it flapped wildly as her claw gripped it. 

Taurus smirked and played with the fish before flinging it to the shore. Bouncing after her flopping fish she played with it for a while. It flapped for a few minutes before it started to get deprived of the water it breathed. It started slowing down which she noted as she stuck her paw out and continued to eat it. 

Taurus was hungry but still playing with the fish. Classic child, she was.
