[Ahnkella]

NARRATIVE

Seliatia has been home to canines and felines for many, many decades, each keeping to themselves and living their lives with little confliction with each other. Recently, however, there have been some changes within Seliatia and the canines and felines have been having more and more encounters and their appearances have been changing.

STORM
Over a period of a few weeks, the weather had been taking an unusual turn; the sky took an unusual array of colours with odd flashing lights in the distance behind the clouds and deep rumbles of thunder; many thought it was just a thunderstorm building, but it was far more than that. As the days drew on darkness started to envelop the days and the temperature lowered with the lack of warmth from the sun, setting everyone on edge. Some inhabitants called this the apocalypse and feared they were all about to die.

What they didn't know was that it was a meteorological storm that had caused the upset in weather and was now about to throw their lives into turmoil.

As the darkness took over animals lost their sense of time, direction and abilities, something as simple as hunting was a struggle as the prey were gone, many animals had their daily rhythms confused and none could fathom what was going on. The storm started with more flashes of colour and some cracks of sound for a few hours, then streaks of light lit up the skies as huge formations appeared to be heading towards the land, sending the animals into a panic.

Animals all over the planet took off and ran trying to avoid the impending impact of the multiple asteroids that were on a collision course with Seliatia. That impact happened over the space of 24 hours and changed the lives of everyone, forever.

EMERGENCE
For almost a week after the meteor storm, things were still dark, then finally light. The darkness began to clear and the shocking aftermath of the storm is starting to be unravelled.

The landscape had taken a brutal impact from the meteors and the land around them were scorched and singed, deep crevasses dug into the ground where these formations seem to have fallen. Not all of these impact site housed a meteorite, some seemed to have nothing or nothing that the inhabitants knew to look for.

Pugmarks. Pugmarks were remnant to some of the impact sites leading to the suspicion that some mammal had either been caught in the firing line or emerged from it. But for multiple sites to house similar marks, that's not a coincidence. No. These ones were foreign creatures that had crashed into Seliatia and quickly adapted to take the form of the two most dominant forms; Canine and Feline.

Thanks to their ability to quickly change their appearance and being, these creatures snuck into the land of Seliaita with not much trouble.
It took a while before things settled down with the inhabitants, some spoke of the near-miss they had survived being a bad omen of things to come. Was it? There had been scattered rumours of animals with unusual appearance and abilities that were not known amongst the inhabitants before. Was this related to the storm?

CURRENTLY - THE SETTLING
As everyone has started to get used to more and more animals appearing with mutations and abilities they know how important it is to find these aliens.

There is an unknown number of alien canines and felines lurking within our midsts with abilities and powers unprecedented. They have the ability to bestow abilities and mutations on others without them knowing as well as causing havoc. Your task is to try your best and locate, identify and track these beings as best you can without being killed.

These aliens can and will kill, but will also merge themselves in with the inhabitants so well that it would be hard to determine who is fake and who is real.

SUB-PLOT

There is a feud going on between two Guild; Incognita Viribus and Sacrum Imperium, both of the same family with a huge rift.

The leader of IV is the mother of the leaders of SI; she exiled the brothers, who are her sons, after Zenyr, the eldest, mated a female from outside the pack, which was against pack laws. Cozen, Zenyr's younger brother tried to change his mother's mind but found himself exiled also.

The brothers left, met up with Zenyr's mate, who was pregnant at the time and set off the find a new land to call their own. As they got themselves set up in the new place, they found that some of their siblings have left and wanted to stay with the brothers, as well as some others of Tsala's guild. There have also been a few strangers who have tried to infiltrate the boys' strengthening Guild and trying to get them to break up, all thought to be actions of Tsala.

All the while the brothers have had their own issues to deal with when Zenyr's mate, Selher, has been going missing and eventually disappears entirely from pack life. She left to give birth to her pups and raised them to a stable age before abandoning them on the borders of SI and fleeing. Fortunately, Zenyr located them in time and has kept them safe while getting them integrated with pack life.
